FAQ's

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I have a studio based in Monterey and Maroubra in Sydney and offer also offer  mobile service. All mobile bookings may incur a call out/travel fee.  But whether it’s a wedding/event within Sydney, Greater Sydney or destination weddings, I am happy to travel to everywhere.  I have even gone as far and Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast for my brides.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, all bookings require a non-refundable deposit to be made.  We often have many clients looking for the same date. We work on a first come first serve basis, this payment secures your booking for that date and time. It is also our commitment to you and your date. This fee is then deducted from your finally fee on the day.

Please note until your deposit has been received  your booking is not locked in and is open for other clients too book.

Can I book you without doing a trial?

Unfortunately no we do not take wedding booking without a trial. Your trial is so important to us, This is our opportunity to get you know you, your style and your vision for your special day. It also take immense pressure off your wedding day as everyone is comfortable and knows exactly what is happening. You will also get a chance to ensure that we are the perfect fit for you and your day.  All bridal trials take place at my studio in Maroubra.

However in the unlikely event we have an opening for your wedding with in a couple of weeks of your big day or if you are a destination bride, we do allow exceptions in this case, except we expect extra time on day of your wedding have an a mini consultation before we commence your booking.

When should I book my trial?
For best result and to get the most accurate consultation we recommend booking your trial within 2 months of your wedding. This will ensure that your hair and skin will be in similar condition to that of the day of your wedding. You will have a clear idea of your vision for your day

Can a mother of the bride or bridesmaid have a trial also?
Yes, anyone from your bridal trial can book a trial, however the must take place at  another time from you trial. Bridal trials are an extremely indept consultation. We want to make sure we are focused solely on the bride and have the time need to go through everything with them.

Do you provide an all day makeup and hair service?
I do offer an all day service which varies from client to client depending on whether it is for a photoshoot or wedding. Photoshoots can be booked in full day and half day appointments or hair and makeup appointments only.

For your wedding it is up to you how long you required, however it is most commonly up until the reception.  But of course I can stay with you throughout the day for change of looks or touch-up's. Please be aware if you require me to stay for the whole day I would usually need to know well in advance to ensure that I can accommodate you.

Do you provide all services yourself or do you have a team?
On most occasions I provide your service myself. However , there is times when I will require an additional artist to assist me with a booking. In this scenarios I have a small team of very trusted senior artists and stylists who have been handpicked and reviewed by myself. All artists are fully trained with recognised industry qualifications. I only work with artists who have similar aesthetic to me to ensure that your overall makeup look and hairstyle will remain consistent no matter what.  I will always inform you if I cannot take the booking myself and if I have another artist available.

Can I request a certain look?
Sure, you can request any look you would like, however I will always advise you on what will suit your face shape, eye shape or colouring. While I think it is great to get some ideas from the likes of pinterest (don’t worry I’m addicted too), what you see and what a trained artist sees can be very different. This why it's always a good idea to have a couple of minutes consultation before we start the desired look.  But I can create any look to reflect your personal style from a very natural look to a more glam look.  However please note that every artist has their own style too. As a result  I would advise taking a look at my portfolio to ensure it suits your style.

What products are in your Kit?
I use a selection of professional products from many different brands. However every brand I use is high quality, premium products. I’m not affiliated with any brand and therefore my product selection is completely unbiased. The products I use vary from client to client and I choose them based on what best suit your skin type and skin tone. I am always updating my collection, however my go to brands include: Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC Cosmetics, NARS, Laura Mericer, Benefit Cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, Dior, Stila Cosmetics, YSL, Urban Decay, ABH. and more

What are your rates?
For more information on pricing please check out my service price list. But please take into consideration that every client I work with is different and has a unique booking. Therefore prices will vary from client to client. In order to provide you with a quote I will require details including your wedding date, ceremony & reception locations and further details on your bridal party size and style. Please note that parking is also at the expensive of the client and a travel fee maybe be required.

My pricing will always be upfront with no hidden fees. Prices will include all makeup and hair styling services as booked, including any final touches, false lashes and travel to you. Studio prices are at a reduced fee as there is no call out fee. You may want to purchase products such as lipstick or powders from me for your wedding day, these items are at an additional fee.

Can l book my trial for my hen party?
Of course, I have had brides request their bridal trial on the day of their hen party.  However please keep in mind that bridal trials take a lot longer, then a regular booking as we need to have an in-depth consultation and they take place at my studio in Maroubra. But if you would like to cross over the both then I can definitely accommodate you, once I have the date available.

How do l book?

You can get in touch by filling out our bridal enquiry form here, event/ occasional form here

or if your event booking is less than 6 months in advance you can book through on book online button at the top of our page.

Please note all makeup and hair appointments require a booking deposit, or a card  to hold your appointment.
After your deposit is received and your booking is confirmed you will receive an email and SMS confirmation.

If your deposit is not received and I do not hear from you within the 72 hours your date will be released. For all bridal bookings, once your deposit has been received, both your trial date and wedding date will be blocked out.  We will then meet for the trial on the chosen date and have our consultation.
