Where are you based, and do you travel?

I am based in Bondi Junction  in Sydney Eastern Suburbs, where I offer certain appointments at my Makeup Studio here.  But yes I mostly travel. Whether it’s a wedding within Sydney, Greater Sydney or beyond, I am happy to travel to any destination.  I have even gone as far and Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast for my brides.

What services do you offer?

I offer Makeup, Hairstyling and HD Brow Treatments.  Both occasional makeup and hair appointment can be made either in the studio (numbers depending) or in location of your choice. Bridal makeup trials usually take place in my studio; however they can take place at a venue of your choice. Though, all bridal appointments on the morning of your wedding must take place at your location.

How long do I have to wait before my first HD Brow Treatment?
The most basic answer is a long as possible, the more hair growth you have the better result you will get. But ordinary I would say about 3-4 weeks depending on your growth.

Do I have to do a patch test for a HD Brow Treatment?
Yes all new clients will be required to complete a patch test 24-48 hours before you appointment. You must come to your appointment with evidence of having completed your test otherwise your treatment will not be complete.

How long do I have to wait between HD Brow appointments?
To achieve optimum result you should come every 3-4 weeks for your appointment. This will ensure the brows retain their shape and your perfect regrowth program is achieved. Please understand I have limited spaces for brow appointments and they fill up fast. I always advise booking your next appointment on the day.

What is so special about HD Brows?
The HD Brow Treatment is not just a 5 mins eyebrow wax. Appointments usually take up to 45 minutes. Your initial appointment will start with a consultation where we discuss what brow look you want to achieve. From here I map out and design a bespoke brow to suit your face shape, taking into consideration your desired style. I then dye, wax, thread and tweeze the eyebrows into shape. Then we have your final consultation where I will map out where we need the hair to grow in, discuss your aftercare and I will give you your regrowth program for achieving your perfect brows. Please be aware that only 10% of clients achieve the perfect HD Brows on their first treatment. For most clients it takes regular treatments every 4 weeks over a substantial period to get their desired look.

Do you provide an all day makeup and hair service?
I do offer an all day service which varies from client to client depending on whether it is for a photoshoot or wedding. Photoshoots can be booked in full day and half day appointments or hair and makeup appointments only.

For your wedding it is up to you how long you required, however it is most commonly up until the reception.  But of course I can stay with you throughout the day for change of looks or touch-up's. Please be aware if you require me to stay for the whole day I would usually need to know well in advance to ensure that I can accommodate you.

Do you provide all services yourself or do you have a team?
On most occasions I provide your service myself. However , there is times when I will require an additional artist to assist me with a booking, or take the booking where I am already booked myself. In these scenarios I have a small team of very trusted senior artists and stylists who have been handpicked and reviewed by myself. All artists are fully trained with recognised industry qualifications. I only work with artists who have similar aesthetic to me to ensure that your overall makeup look and hairstyle will remain consistent no matter what.  I will always inform you if I cannot take the booking myself and if I have another artist available.

Can I request a certain look?
Sure, you can request any look you would like, however I will always advise you on what will suit your face shape, eye shape or colouring. While I think it is great to get some ideas from the likes of pinterest (don’t worry I’m addicted too), what you see and what a trained artist sees can be very different. This why it's always a good idea to have a couple of minutes consultation before we start the desired look.  But I can create any look to reflect your personal style from a very natural look to a more glam look.  However please note that every artist has their own style too. As a result  I would advise taking a look at my portfolio to ensure it suits your style. I do not do extremely heavy makeup that is not my technique.

What products are in your Kit?
I use a selection of professional products from many different brands. However every brand I use is high quality, premium products. I’m not affiliated with any brand and therefore my product selection is completely unbiased. The products I use vary from client to client and I choose them based on what best suit your skin type and skin tone. I am always updating my collection, however my go to brands include: Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC Cosmetics, NARS, Laura Mericer, Benefit Cosmetics, Illamasqua, Inglot , Stila Cosmetics, YSL, Urban Decay.

What are your rates?
For more information on pricing please check out my service price list. But please take into consideration that every client I work with is different and has a unique booking. Therefore prices will vary from client to client. In order to provide you with a quote I will require details including your wedding date, ceremony & reception locations and further details on your bridal party size and style. Please note that parking is also at the expensive of the client.
My pricing will always be upfront with no hidden fees. Prices will include all makeup and hair styling services as booked, including any final touches, false lashes and travel to you. Studio prices are at a reduced fee as there is no call out fee. You may want to purchase products such as lipstick or powders from me for your wedding day, these items are at an additional fee.

Do I need a trial?
I strongly recommend that every bride has a trial before the wedding. During this appointment you will have time to show me your dress, accessories, themes and ideas you have for your big day. We will discuss your ideas or help you decide on what look you want to achieve. We can also decide on your bridesmaid's style during the trial.  Some brides even like to bring along their chief bridesmaid and make a day of it. We will also discuss things like running times for the day, products I will use, and whether you want me to purchase any products such a lipstick or powder to add to your safety kit for the day. These perviously planned out details help your wedding day to run a lot more smoothly and take a huge amount off stress off the morning. I recommend having your trial 8 weeks before your wedding date as skin and hair conditions may still be changing. You will also have your dress chosen by this date and you will more than likely have and idea about your accessories and styles.

Can l book my trial for my hen party?
Of course, I have had brides request their bridal trial on the day of their hen party.  However please keep in mind that bridal trials take a lot longer, then a regular booking as we need to have an in-depth consultation. I would also recommend not having a lot of people around as you may not be able to focus on the task at hand. The appointment should be relaxed and stress free. But if you would like to cross over the both then I can definitely accommodate you, once I have the date available.

How do l book?

You can get in touch by filling out our enquiry form here.

Please note all makeup and hair appointments require a booking deposit to secure the appointment.  A deposit is not required for any beauty treatments including threading, waxing, eyelash extensions or HD Brow Treatments. For more information on this please see my booking policy.
After your deposit is received I will send you a confirmation email and your booking/ trial is locked in. You have seven days from the booking to pay the deposit. If I do not hear from you within the seven day your date will be released. Please understand that this is the maximum amount of time I can hold your date without hearing from you, as I have very limited availability especially on weekends and I very often have clients requesting the same date.
For all bridal bookings, once your trial deposit has been received, both your trial date and wedding date will be blocked out.  We will then meet for the trial on the chosen date and have our consultation. If you are happy with everything at the trial, we can then lock in your wedding date on the same day. You have seven days from this date to pay the deposit. If I do not hear from you in this time your date will be released. Once your payment is received I will send you a confirmation email along with my booklet outlining all my tips and tricks to prepare for your special day.

How do I pay the remainder of the fee?
The remainder of the fee and all beauty treatments (HD Brows etc.) are to be paid on the day after the appointment has been completed. I accept cash, credit card and debit card. For all card transactions there is a 2% charge.

Alternatively for Hair and Makeup bookings only a bank transfer can be received before the booking has been completed. However a receipt of payment must be sent before the booking has been completed.
